Executive partner of our San Francisco office Tamsen Plume was profiled by the San Francisco Business Times for an article offering insights on where San Francisco is headed regarding housing opportunities. Ms. Plume suggested that the city is facing challenges in housing because of conflicting progressive ideals and the strong attachment people have to their homes. She added that she believes the area will continue to struggle with the need for change and increased urban density, and will meet resistance to those changes.
"I think people are realizing they are going to have to embrace some change and density and urbanism. But I think it’s going to be a bumpy ride", she said.
