She emphasized the need for implementing energy saving and efficiency policies, alongside promoting renewable energy sources and exploring gas options, to ensure the energy system's resilience. Moreover, she highlighted that the ordeal served as a valuable lesson for building a more stable and efficient energy sector, underpinned not just by regulation and investment but also through cooperation between the private and public sectors.
"To prevent this, it is necessary to continually implement policies on energy saving and efficiency, the penetration of renewables, and the exploration and exploitation of gas, to maintain our safety net, which are the thermal plants, and the advancement of transmission projects," she said.
