Ms. Gutiérrez emphasized that suppliers must provide clear and current information about their products and adhere to delivery timelines agreed upon with consumers, with a maximum term of 30 business days. She also highlighted the need for accessible customer service channels on e-commerce platforms to guide consumers and allow for tracking of complaints, protection of their rights.
"In the case of an offer, the validity period and product availability must be communicated. The supplier is obligated to deliver the order within the time frame agreed upon by the consumer, which must be informed prior to any transaction. If no specific term is set, it will default to 30 business days," she said.
