Beverly Hills Council Denies Builder's Remedy Appeal
West Coast Land Use and Environment attorney Ryan Leaderman was cited in an article published by Beverly Press and Park Labrea News regarding the Beverly Hills City Council's decision to deny an appeal for a builder's remedy project. The council upheld the city staff's determination that the application was incomplete as a result of a submission timing issue. Mr. Leaderman argued the city acted unlawfully by not recognizing the vested rights of the developer under state housing law.
"It could be quite dangerous if the city continues to violate the Housing Accountability Act," he said.
