Anne-Mette Elkjær Andersen Elected President of Danish American Chamber of Commerce in New York
NEW YORK – January 29, 2013 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Anne-Mette Elkjær Andersen, a partner in the firm's New York office, has been elected president of the Danish American Chamber of Commerce in New York (DACC) as of January 16, 2013.
Ms. Andersen practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, international business transactions and general business law. She regularly assists U.S. and foreign – including Scandinavian – corporations with transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset sales, and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight LLP, Ms. Andersen was a licensed lawyer in Denmark. She is fluent in Danish.
The Danish American Chamber of Commerce in New York (DACC) is a New York not-for-profit corporation. The DACC exists to further the business interests of its members, and to help promote business relations between Denmark and the United States. Members include Maersk Line, Nordea, Scandinavian Airlines, and Royal Dansk.
