Susan Booth Elected to Membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers
LOS ANGELES (April 2, 2013) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Susan Booth, a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office, has been elected to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). Election to the college is by invitation only and occurs following a rigorous evaluation process. Lawyers are selected for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. ACREL has about 950 members.
Booth heads the West Coast Real Estate Group of Holland & Knight and serves on the firm's Directors Committee. She was recently named the "Up-and-Coming Real Estate Lawyer of the Year" at the 2013 Chambers USA "Women in Law" Awards ceremony in New York City. Booth was honored in 2012 by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Los Angeles as one of its "Women at the Top" and the city of Los Angeles gave her a commendation for her impact on commercial real estate. Booth's clients include banks, pension funds, private equity funds, REITs and developers.
