Holland & Knight's William B. Sherman to Co-Chair NYU's 73rd Institute on Federal Taxation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 7, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that tax partner William B. Sherman has been selected as co-chair of the New York University School of Continuing Professional Studies (NYC-SCPS) 73rd Institute on Federal Taxation. The conference, which attracts hundreds of tax professionals each year, will take place on October 19-24 in New York and November 16-21 in San Diego.

Mr. Sherman is chair of Holland & Knight's national Tax Team and provides sophisticated domestic and international tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures and investments for clients in a variety of industries. He is a well-known lecturer and frequently chairs New York University's Summer Institute in Taxation's Introductory and Advanced International Tax Seminars.

Mr. Sherman is a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and serves as an adjunct professor of tax law with the University of Miami's Graduate Tax Program. He is also recognized as a leading tax lawyer by The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA.
