Bogotá, Colombia (April 30, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce the expansion of its Bogotá office with the addition of 13 attorneys from Suárez Zapata  Partners Abogados, a local firm that specializes in energy, environmental and natural resources law, and infrastructure. The new lawyers will join the firm later in May.

Internationally-recognized attorney José Vicente Zapata will join Holland & Knight as a partner along with 12 associates. Holland & Knight established a presence in Bogotá in 2012 and is one of only three U.S.-based law firms to have an office in Colombia.
