Holland & Knight Adds Tax Partner Gary Schoenbrun in New York

NEW YORK (February 17, 2015) –  Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that tax attorney Gary L. Schoenbrun has joined the firm as a partner in the New York office.

Mr. Schoenbrun concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation and executive compensation. He regularly advises clients as tax counsel in connection with both taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions and financings involving public and private companies. He has particular skill in structuring partnerships and limited liability company tax allocations and distribution waterfalls. Mr. Schoenbrun also represents investment funds on various tax matters including taxation and regulatory issues, as well as chief executives and other high-level corporate officers in structuring and negotiating their compensation agreements.

Mr. Schoenbrun received a J.D. degree cum laude from Harvard Law School, an LL.M degree from New York University School of Law and a B.A. degree magna cum laude from the University of Rochester. He comes to Holland & Knight from Dickstein Shapiro.
