Holland & Knight Welcomes Tax Partner Jennifer Karpchuk in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (May 15, 2025) – Holland & Knight has strengthened its Tax, Executive Compensation and Benefits Practice Group with the addition of Jennifer Karpchuk as a partner in Philadelphia, who will co-chair the State and Local Tax Team. Ms. Karpchuk was previously a partner with Chamberlain Hrdlicka, where she was chair of its state and local tax (SALT) practice.

Ms. Karpchuk represents companies and individuals in all aspects of state and local tax litigation, controversy, compliance and planning. She has extensive experience handling state and local tax matters involving corporate income taxes, franchise taxes, gross receipts taxes, personal income taxes, sales and use taxes, business privilege taxes and real estate taxes.

Ms. Karpchuk is the current chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Tax Section. She is also the past chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's State and Local Tax Committee, as well as an elected member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Tax Council. Additionally, Ms. Karpchuk is the most recent past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Tax Section. She is a vice chair of the American Bar Association's State and Local Tax Committee.

Ms. Karpchuk has been consistently ranked in the Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America guides since 2021.

Ms. Karpchuk received a J.D. degree from Temple University, Beasley School of Law and a B.A. degree from the University of Delaware. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
