Overview

Brigid Buckley is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office who focuses her practice on commercial litigation and business disputes.

Ms. Buckley represents clients in a wide range of matters, including contract disputes, commercial claims, consumer finance litigation, creditors' rights and other complex litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience handling matters involving construction project delays, subcontractor disputes, payment and performance claims, indemnity issues, contract interpretation and risk allocation. She represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, including pre-suit analysis, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement strategy and case evaluation.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Buckley represented clients in construction, surety, bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. Her experience includes analyzing complex factual records, payment and performance disputes, indemnity claims, creditor-side disputes and risk allocation.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Buckley served in an in-house counsel role, where she drafted and negotiated software as a service (SaaS) agreements, statements of work, master service agreements, subcontractor agreements and public sector contracts involving the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of information technology products and services.
