Overview

Shanice Cameron is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Orlando office. Ms. Cameron's practice encompasses general corporate transactions, including New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities and corporate governance.

Ms. Cameron works with institutional investors, developers, lenders, community development entities (CDEs) and Qualified Active Low-Income Community Businesses (QALICBs) using NMTC to finance economic development. She has assisted clients with a wide array of NMTC projects across the country, including the development of charter schools, medical facilities, multi-use facilities, manufacturing and production facilities, fresh food distribution centers, as well as residential housing facilities.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Cameron worked as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida as well as a law clerk for a licensure defense firm. Additionally, Ms. Cameron served in the Guardian Ad Litem and Mediation Legal clinics at Florida A&M University College of Law and is a certified county mediator.

While in law school, Ms. Cameron served as editor-in-chief of the Florida A&M University Law Review and also served as a research and learning assistant. Ms. Cameron graduated as class valedictorian.
