Overview

Mackenzie Cietek is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Ms. Cietek's practice emphasizes commercial leasing, and she regularly represents real estate investment funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate companies in connection with the ownership, operation and management of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use portfolios throughout the U.S. Her leasing experience spans the full life cycle of commercial properties, from initial lease-up through ongoing portfolio management and renewals.

Ms. Cietek represents national and regional landlords in the leasing of office buildings, retail shopping centers, industrial projects and mixed-use developments, often encompassing hundreds of thousands of square feet across major markets, including Nashville, Austin, Raleigh, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and Houston. She also has experience representing national retail tenants on acquisitions, ground leasing and build-to-suit transactions throughout the U.S. Through these engagements, she has developed experience across a broad range of asset types, transaction structures and market conditions.

Ms. Cietek is known for her strong organizational skills, responsiveness and ability to efficiently manage complex, multi-property leasing portfolios. She brings a detail-oriented, practical approach to every transaction and is valued by clients for her reliability, efficiency and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

  • Represented a regional developer in the leasing of shopping centers located throughout Florida
  • Represented a foreign investor in the development of 121 luxury for-rent town house-style multifamily apartments on 14.2 acres of land in Texas
  • Represent a real estate investment company in the leasing of dozens of office buildings, each consisting of a minimum of 100,000 square feet, across multiple U.S. markets, including Nashville, Austin, Raleigh, Coral Gables, Dallas, Denver and San Francisco
  • Represent a commercial real estate company in the leasing of dozens of acres of office, retail, residential and hospitality mixed-use space in Texas
  • Represent a commercial real estate company in the leasing of a six-building office complex in Texas
