Overview

Liz Cordova is a senior policy advisor in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office, where she leads the Mexico Regulatory and Government Affairs Team. Ms. Cordova focuses her practice on the bilateral relationship between Mexico and Canada, serving clients in a variety of industries primarily in the energy, healthcare, manufacturing and digital sectors.

Ms. Cordova has significant experience working on global value chains, country competitiveness plans, and the economic and political relationship between the private and public sectors.

In addition, Ms. Cordova has ventured into the clean energy sector as an entrepreneur, launching a lithium battery startup and founding a boutique consulting firm on sustainability.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Cordova was based in Washington, D.C., where she was the executive director of the U.S.-Mexico Economic Council and the U.S.-Canada Business Initiative at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, running successful events such as the U.S.-Mexico CEO Dialogue and building strong economic and commercial ties between the three nations. Her experience also includes serving as deputy director of productivity at Mexico's Ministry of Finance during the 2012-2018 federal administration.
