Freddie David

Freddie David is a private equity finance, private credit and leveraged finance attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office. Mr. David represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, private credit funds and other lenders in debt financing transactions across the investment life cycle.

Mr. David's practice is informed by deep experience on both sides of the financing table, including large-cap and middle-market-sponsor finance, lender-side private credit and direct lending transactions. Clients rely on him for counsel as financing needs arise during an investment, including:

• structuring and origination
• acquisition financings and add-on facilities
• refinancings and dividend recaps
• repricings, covenant resets and other amendments
• amend-and-extends, liability management exercises and out-of-court restructurings

Mr. David advises clients on credit document vulnerabilities, covenant flexibility, collateral leakage risks, intercreditor issues, agreement-among-lenders dynamics and liability management risks.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. David represented sponsors, portfolio companies, private credit funds and other direct lenders, banks and ad hoc lender groups in financing, capital markets and restructuring matters at other leading international law firms.
