Overview
Libby Decker is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office. Ms. Decker focuses her practice on representing emerging companies, venture capital investors and other strategic investors in a broad range of corporate transactions, including venture financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and general corporate matters.
Ms. Decker represents private companies throughout their life cycles, from company formation through commercial growth and sale processes, often serving as outside general corporate counsel. She regularly works with founders, venture funds, angel investors and strategic investors across the technology, life sciences and other growth-oriented sectors.
Ms. Decker's experience includes convertible note and Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) offerings, early-stage seed and venture financings, corporate reorganizations, commercial contracts and day-to-day corporate governance counseling. She also advises companies and investors on business strategy and a wide range of acquisition and investment transactions.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Decker was an attorney in the corporate practice of an Am Law 100 law firm, where she advised emerging companies and investors on corporate transactions and general corporate matters.
While in law school, Ms. Decker served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marianne B. Bowler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
