Hailey Elizabeth Dennis
Associate
Overview
Hailey Dennis is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. Ms. Dennis focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, including international trade, regulatory compliance and maritime litigation.
Ms. Dennis represents public and private companies in high-stakes litigation across jurisdictions. She manages matters from early assessment through trial, including drafting and arguing motions, directing large-scale discovery, taking and defending depositions and supporting mediation strategy. She has presented oral argument before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and California state courts. Her experience spans federal and state litigation, with a focus on matters that require coordination across legal, regulatory and operational considerations.
In addition, Ms. Dennis has a significant background in maritime and transportation-related disputes. She advises clients on cross-border litigation, regulatory exposure and class action risk, including class action waivers and consumer-facing claims. Clients look to her to manage risk, align legal strategy with business priorities and move complex matters forward with clarity and efficiency.
Ms. Dennis brings a distinctive, industry-informed perspective to her practice. Prior to attending law school, she worked shipboard for a global cruise line. She later worked in-house with a multinational cruise company, where she supported litigation strategy, conducted claims investigations and managed contracts across multiple jurisdictions. Ms. Dennis also completed a legal internship with the U.S. Coast Guard, focusing on maritime regulation, international law and policy enforcement.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Dennis represented multinational companies in complex commercial and maritime litigation, including disputes involving international transportation, high-exposure Jones Act and passenger personal injury claims, labor and employment issues, and cross-border regulatory challenges.
