Garrett Tillman Dodd

Garrett Dodd is a litigation and dispute resolution attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Mr. Dodd focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in state and federal court.

Mr. Dodd's experience includes counseling clients and litigating a range of issues arising in business, such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, business torts, fraud, professional negligence, mass tort, misappropriation of trade secrets, non-compete agreements and data privacy. He represents public and private sector entities whose work spans many industries, including healthcare, technology and software development, utilities, logistics, professional services and private equity.

Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, Mr. Dodd served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kathryn Kimball Mizelle of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

In law school, Mr. Dodd graduated second in his class. He served as the executive articles editor of the Florida Law Review and worked as a research assistant for a business law professor.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Dodd worked for the CIA and FBI on counterterrorism issues.
