Keith M. Ferry is Holland & Knight's director of business development and works out of the firm's Miami office, with the primary responsibility of running HK Deal Flow®, a deal-sourcing and deal-matchmaking platform.
In this role, Mr. Ferry sources deal opportunities from the firm's sizable network of attorneys and other deal intermediary professionals. He strategically matches those leads with the firm's private equity, family office and debt finance clients that are seeking opportunities. Mr. Ferry built the underlying proprietary system behind HK Deal Flow®, which stores all deal leads and matches those leads with the right investors based on their investment criteria.
Mr. Ferry actively meets with the firm's private equity, family office and debt finance clients to understand their investment criteria and focus to determine which HK Deal Flow® opportunities would be right for them. These added touch points not only add value in the form of more deal opportunities for the firm's clients, but also demonstrate Holland & Knight's understanding of the value of deal sourcing and cutting-edge thinking.
In addition, Mr. Ferry helps connect clients with centers of influence and facilitates introductions to contacts in the firm's network to create new and valuable relationships.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Ferry was senior vice president of business development for a nationally recognized digital media company, where he was responsible for identifying and building new business partnerships and transactions for all business divisions, including television and online content, technology and engineering. Before that, he was an attorney in the private equity group of a global law firm, where he worked on a wide variety of private equity transactions. His practice also consisted of representing venture capital funds, startups and growth companies in early- and growth-stage equity investment transactions.
