Director of Client Relations - Private Equity
Overview
Jose R. Gabaldon is Holland & Knight's Director of Client Relations and is based in the Miami office. Mr. Gabaldon focuses on spearheading strategic initiatives in business development for the Private Equity Team and related practices, as well as bolstering the scope of business-related services that Holland & Knight provides its clients.
Mr. Gabaldon actively participates in and helps manage HK Deal Flow℠ – a deal-sourcing and matchmaking platform that identifies deal opportunities from an extensive network of attorneys and other deal intermediaries and strategically matches these leads with Holland & Knight's private equity, family office and debt finance clients seeking opportunities. HK Deal Flow℠ includes more than 900 capital sources such as private equity firms, growth equity funds, family offices, banks and other lenders. Both clients and prospective clients can take advantage of deal introductions, and no finder's fees or similar transaction success fees are charged to program participants. Furthermore, Mr. Gabaldon connects clients with centers of influence and facilitates introductions within Holland & Knight's network to understand their investment focuses and foster new and valuable relationships.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Gabaldon held several roles – most recently as a vice president and trust services manager – at a national bank based in Coral Gables, Florida. In that role, he led the Trust Department and focused on servicing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth Latin American families. Previously, he practiced law at one of the leading law firms in Venezuela, where he represented domestic and international clients in wide range of matters.
