Overview
Uriel García López is a labor, employment and benefits attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. He focuses his practice on labor and social security law, including individual litigation analysis and corporate labor structuring.
Mr. García experience includes onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees, termination of labor relations for high-level employees and high-risk litigation regarding wrongful termination, social security and beneficiary claims. Furthermore, he has assisted companies during the labor inspection process by Mexican authorities and has participated in negotiations, conciliations and settlement agreements in diverse employee-employer disputes. He routinely prepares and updates employment agreements and amendments, termination documents, internal policies, benefit plans, mandatory profit-sharing documentation and internal employment regulations.
In addition, Mr. García has a solid background in labor and employment, as well as social security law, enabling him to provide legal advice and assistance on compliance in labor-related matters, internal investigations, and the design and implementation of outsourcing and labor schemes.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. García worked in the labor practice of several renowned law firms in Mexico.
