Jonathan Gerken

Jonathan Mark Gerken is a private equity attorney in Holland & Knight's Charlotte office. He advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies located across the country on leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, take-private transactions, merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, equity issuances and general corporate matters.

Mr. Gerken has worked on deals ranging from small minority investments to multibillion-dollar take-private transactions. Mr. Gerken has also worked on matters across a range of practice areas, including company-wide employee co-investments and one of the largest telecommunications bankruptcy filings of the last two decades.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Gerken worked for a Charlotte-based law firm in its corporate and private equity group, and a Chicago-based global law firm in its M&A and private equity group.
