Christian Weller Grossenbacher

Christian W. Grossenbacher is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Century City office and is a member of the firm's West Coast Real Estate Group. Mr. Grossenbacher focuses his practice on complex commercial real estate transactions, including land banking transactions and the acquisition, operation and disposition of various asset types, such as multifamily residential, shopping centers and industrial properties.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Grossenbacher was a law clerk for a boutique real estate law firm in Miami, where he focused on matters concerning business organization and real estate joint ventures.

While in law school, Mr. Grossenbacher served as the president of the Law and Entrepreneurship Association (LEA) and was selected by faculty to serve as a legal research and writing advisor to first-year law students. In addition, Mr. Grossenbacher mentored aspiring law students through the Law Fellows Program, which provides resources and mentorship to traditionally underrepresented law school applicants.

Representative Experience

• Representation of a real estate investment client in connection with the acquisition and disposition of various shopping center properties located throughout the U.S.
• Representation of one of Southern California's largest banks in the lease review of branches located across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington in connection with its $2 billion merger with an Oregon-based regional bank
• Representation of an investment management fund in the $39.4 million land banking of land entitled for development of a 134-home community in Santa Clarita, California
• Representation of a real estate investment company in connection with the acquisition of a mixed-use student housing and retail property located in East Lansing, Michigan
