Shane A. Hart

Shane A. Hart helps clients develop comprehensive estate plans that minimize taxes while achieving their broader goals, and he guides trustees and personal representatives through the administration of trusts and estates. Based in Tampa, he is a member of Holland & Knight's Wealth & Tax Section.

Shane works with clients to design estate plans that balance tax efficiency with the personal and family objectives that matter most to them. His planning work is paired with practical attention to how those plans will be carried out over time.

On the administration side, he counsels trustees in the administration of trusts and personal representatives in the administration of estates, including the preparation of necessary court filings and estate tax returns, helping fiduciaries meet their obligations with confidence.

Shane is a leader in the Tampa Bay estate planning community. He has been active with the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, where he has served as president and as a board member, and he has served on the Estate and Trust Tax Planning Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. In addition, he has participated in the professional advisory network for the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.

His community service extends to education and charitable causes. Shane has served on the board of directors of the Mitchell Elementary Foundation and Meals on Wheels, as well as on the planned giving committees of the Hillsborough Education Foundation and the local chapter of the American Red Cross. That deep involvement in the region's professional and philanthropic communities complements the practical, tax-aware counsel he provides clients.
