Overview

Kevin M. Houlihan is a partner in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Houlihan has an extensive transactional business practice representing clients on corporate and securities matters, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, tender offers, asset sales, and federal and state regulatory and compliance issues, with an emphasis on the financial services industry.

Mr. Houlihan primarily counsels bank holding companies, commercial banks, savings institutions, insurance companies, investment banking firms and private equity funds throughout the United States on a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters. In addition to his substantial experience regarding initial and secondary public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, he is also well-versed in other corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.

In addition, Mr. Houlihan advises clients on securities law compliance, corporate governance matters, executive compensation and employee benefits. He also routinely counsels management teams, boards of directors and public company committees with regard to fiduciary duties, governance and securities law disclosure, as well as bank regulatory and compliance matters.
