Overview

Richard Jaramillo is a corporate lawyer in Holland & Knight's Houston office. Mr. Jaramillo focuses his practice on corporate and securities transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight as an attorney, Mr. Jaramillo was a summer associate in the firm's Houston office. In this role, he gained experience assisting on oil and gas transactions and corporate matters.

While in law school, Mr. Jaramillo was a staff editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law.

  • Represented LongueVue Capital, an independent sponsor, in connection with an investment in Daedalus Industrial, a premier provider of building management and control systems, industrial automation solutions and electrical contracting services for critical applications in the data center and industrial sectors, in partnership with EA Advisors
  • Represented Ember Infrastructure, a private equity firm investing in infrastructure solutions, in its acquisition of an equity stake in Low Impact Development Technologies LLC, a leading provider of stormwater and green infrastructure solutions
  • Represented the founders of Electromagnetic Industries LLP, a manufacturer of components used in switchgear and motor controllers, in its sale to Olympic Controls Corp., a family-owned and operated manufacturer and supplier of standard and customizable coils, fuel pumps, relays, toggles and pushbuttons
  • Represented OnSyte Performance, a leading provider of distributed wastewater treatment solutions, in its acquisition of Banks Septic, a Georgia-based contractor for onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems
  • Represented USA DeBusk LLC, a leading provider of high-value industrial services to energy and infrastructure sectors and a portfolio company of First Reserve, in its sale to H.I.G. Capital, a leading global alternative investment firm with $60 billion of capital under management
  • Represented Warren Equity Partners, a private equity firm, in its acquisition of Code Red Safety, a tech-enabled provider of integrated safety solutions, including high-risk and technical safety products and outsourced safety services for industrial end markets
  • Represented CLEAResult, North America's largest energy efficiency and energy sustainability services provider and a portfolio company of TPG Growth Partners, in its add-on acquisition of Energetics, a leading energy sustainability consultancy serving government, utility, institutional and commercial clients across the U.S.
  • Represented Audax Private Equity and its portfolio company Fastener Distribution Holdings in the acquisition of Fort Worth, Texas-based Calco Industries (Calco Aerospace), a leading supply chain partner to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the military and commercial aerospace markets
