Kristen Jimenez

Kristen Jimenez is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. She practices in the area of banking law, with a focus on licensing, regulatory and compliance matters related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Ms. Jimenez represents clients before a range of federal and state regulatory and enforcement agencies, including OFAC, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), the Federal Reserve and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Ms. Jimenez also advises clients on U.S. export control laws, including compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and has experience handling applications before the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).

In addition, Ms. Jimenez represents lenders and borrowers in commercial and corporate finance transactions and advises public companies on a variety of international corporate matters.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Jimenez assists clients in the U.S., as well as Central and South America.
