Mark Masutani

Mark Masutani is an intellectual property (IP) attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office. Mr. Masutani focuses his practice on patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Masutani worked as a patent agent. His practice included domestic and foreign patent prosecution for individual inventors to nationally recognized corporations. The array of technical fields that he has experience in include medical devices, robotics, wind turbines, laboratory equipment and wearable technology.

While in law school, Mr. Masutani also gained experience serving as a student attorney for the Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he helped diverse and low-income individuals obtain trademark protection. In addition, he interned in the legal department of a therapeutics company, where he performed IP due diligence and freedom to operate analyses.
