Overview

Juan J. Mayol Jr. is a partner in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the firm's Real Estate Section. Mr. Mayol practices in the areas governmental advocacy and land use. He represents lenders, builders, developers and institutional owners in all aspects of land use law through the entire development process, from due diligence, comprehensive planning and zoning approvals, to subdivision and building permit issues. Mr. Mayol routinely handles environmental matters as they relate to the development process. In addition, Mr. Mayol has handled zoning approvals for dozens of charter schools. He is active in Miami-Dade County and most of its municipalities.
