Anthony F. Pirraglia is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston and New York offices. Mr. Pirraglia focuses his practice on the areas of business reorganizations and debtors' and creditors' rights.

Mr. Pirraglia's practice also covers a broad range of bankruptcy-related matters across industries such as healthcare, real estate, transportation, retail, manufacturing, oil and gas, and media. He has extensive experience representing Chapter 11 debtors, creditors, creditors' committees and other parties in interest in all aspects of complex corporate restructurings, including out-of-court restructurings and distressed acquisitions.

  • Representing the indenture trustee of a class of secured notes in the Chapter 11 case of a private limited liability company that owns a sixth-generation, ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented the indenture trustee of a class of unsecured notes in the Chapter 11 cases of a Chilean financial holding company in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
  • Represented a large financial institution as senior secured lender in connection with the prepackaged Chapter 11 cases of an independent oil and gas company focused on growing production and reserves in the core of the Delaware Basin in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented Approach Resources Inc. and its affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented a large financial institution as a senior secured lender in connection with the Chapter 11 cases of a high-end lighting designer and manufacturer in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York
  • Represented a large financial institution as collateral trustee and senior secured lender in connection with the Chapter 11 cases of an independent oil and gas exploration and production company focused on the development of its properties in the Eagle Ford Shale in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented a continuing care retirement community in connection with the commencement of its Chapter 11 cases in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented a substantial working interest owner and contract counterparty in connection with the Chapter 11 cases of independent exploration and production company with an oil focused asset base primarily in the Bakken Formation and Three Forks Shale in the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented creditor and contract counterparty with senior liens on certain equipment used in seismic data collection in connection with the Chapter 11 cases of Geokinetics Inc., et al. in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Represented a larger financial institution in its capacity as senior secured lender in the Chapter 11 case of a cocoa liquor and cocoa butter melting and deodorizing facility in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York
