Jameson B. Rice

Jameson Rice is a transportation attorney who leads Holland & Knight's Supply Chain Team. His practice spans road and rail transportation, warehousing and logistics, ocean shipping and noncontiguous domestic trade, as well as commercial transactions for distribution, supply, procurement and the sale of goods and services.

He is a BTI Client Service All-Star (2025), a distinction recognized as the "gold standard" for identifying attorneys delivering the highest levels of client service. • Motor Carrier, Logistics and Warehousing: shipper-carrier contracts, broker agreements, warehouse agreements, multi-modal master services agreements, 3PL and managed services agreements, and Uniform Intermodal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement (UIIA) interchange agreements
• Rail Operations: operating agreements, trackage rights, haulage and run-through agreements, joint-facility, marketing and interline agreements
• Transportation Infrastructure, Real Estate and Equipment: the purchase, sale and lease of transportation-related real property, infrastructure and equipment

Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Representation in federal, state and arbitration proceedings, often focusing on transportation issues, including federal preemption and freight claims under the Carmack Amendment, as well as government audits and enforcement actions
