Overview
Scotty Schenck is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Mr. Schenck focuses his practice on numerous types of complex litigation matters and disputes in state and federal court.
Mr. Schenck's experience includes complex civil and appellate matters, contract and business disputes, class actions and criminal prosecutions.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Schenck served as Deputy Solicitor General for the Florida Attorney General, handling complex and high-profile civil and criminal litigation on behalf of the State of Florida in state and federal courts, including before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Previously, Mr. Schenck served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. During law school, he gained experience as an intern for the Honorable Jorge Labarga of the Florida Supreme Court, as well as a research assistant to Professors Stephen Sachs and James Boyle, teaching assistant for legal writing courses, and senior online editor of the Duke Law Journal.
