Overview
Tamar Tellado is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Century City office and a member of the firm's Labor, Employment and Benefits Group.
Ms. Tellado represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation and focuses her practice on wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination issues.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Tellado was an attorney at the Los Angeles office of a large national law firm. In this role, she gained experience defending clients in active litigation and negotiating the early resolution of their cases. Ms. Tellado also assisted in counseling employers on an array of issues, such as proper employee classification, termination and disciplinary decisions, accommodations, and employment policies and handbooks.
While in law school, Ms. Tellado served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Natasha L. Abel at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Honorable Patrick J. Walsh of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She was also a member of the Moot Court Board.
