Mariana Valencia is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Bogotá office, where she focuses her practice on corporate and tax law.

Ms. Valencia has experience in corporate consulting and dispute resolution, including drafting complaints and answers, as well as managing claims against companies.

In addition, Ms. Valencia provides direct advice to clients on consumer protection law, helping ensure compliance with applicable legislation. She also understands vendor relationship management and the technical review of commercial contracts, contributing to risk mitigation.

Ms. Valencia's knowledge is complemented by research on tax matters, as she focuses on providing technical and legal support for clients' consulting needs. She also collaborates on various tax litigation matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight in her current role, Ms. Valencia was a law clerk in the Bogotá office. She also worked at a Colombian technology platform that focused on the management and centralization of legal knowledge. In that role, she developed legal compilations and classified international jurisdictional decisions on human rights and International Humanitarian Law.
