Overview
Chris Weinmann is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Seattle office. Mr. Weinmann has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and real estate. Mr. Weinmann provides legal advice to clients on a variety of topics, including assisting companies who are interested in acquiring or selling businesses in negotiated transactions of all sizes, on both the buy-side and sell-side. Mr. Weinmann takes a hands-on approach, managing every aspect of each deal.
In addition, Mr. Weinmann has significant experience in advising search funds and independent sponsors on the full cycle of legal issues they face, including fund formation, target identification, structuring, debt and equity financing, acquisitions, business operations and corporate governance, add-ons and divestitures, and exit strategies across a range of industries, including technology, software, services, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, and defense and retail. He serves as outside general counsel to small and large companies, including family-owned businesses, funds, family offices and entrepreneurs, managing all legal matters related to their businesses.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Weinman was an attorney at a Seattle-based law firm.

- Represented organicgirl LLC, the U.S. market leader in branded organic packaged salads and a portfolio company of Arable Capital Partners, in its acquisition of the Fresh Vegetables Division of Dole plc (NYSE: DOLE), a global leader in fresh produce, for $140 million
- Represented organicgirl LLC, the U.S. market leader in branded organic packaged salads and a portfolio company of Arable Capital Partners, in its add-on acquisition of Braga Fresh, a vertically integrated grower and processor of both conventional and organic vegetables
- Represented a search fund-backed leading provider of Accounts Payable automation solutions for medium and large enterprises in the cloud in its sale to a private equity-backed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that leverages Artificial Intelligence-based Autonomous Systems to help companies automate Accounts Receivable and Treasury processes
- Represented a private equity firm in connection with the contribution and exchange of 100 percent of the equity interests of a U.S.-based web services consulting company into a newly formed holding company as part of a cross-border combination with a Hungarian software company
- Represented Automatic Products Co., a family-owned manufacturer of precision mullion and turning components and mechanical assemblies, in its sale to RTC Aerospace, a precision manufacturing partner for the aerospace, defense and space and satellite industries and a portfolio company of Stellex Capital Management
- Represented Merchant Investments Inc. (d/b/a Global Venture), a packaging and labeling company, in the sale of its label manufacturing business to OSP Holdings, a Japan‑based industrial holding company specializing in label printing, packaging and sealing solutions for consumer goods, food, pharmaceutical and industrial markets
- Represented RMC Global, a leading provider of industrial cybersecurity, risk management and resiliency solutions for critical infrastructure and critical missions, in its sale to ABSG Consulting Inc., a leading provider of safety, risk and integrity management solutions and an affiliate of ABS Group of Companies Inc., a global leader in safety and risk management for critical infrastructure worldwide
- Represented the management team of Prime Electric, a leading provider of construction and engineering services on the West Coast and a portfolio company of Westview Capital Partners, in connection with an investment in Prime Electric by TrueLink Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on middle-market buyouts
- Represented FirstTwo, a provider of location-based situational intelligence for public safety agencies, in its sale to CentralSquare Technologies, the leading provider of public sector technology and backed by Bain Capital Private Equity and Vista Equity Partners

- Represented Fraxion, a provider of cloud-based procurement and spend management software for mid-market organizations, in its majority investment from Main Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing exclusively in Enterprise Software companies
- Represented Clariti Software, a Canada-based leading provider of community development solutions for governments of all sizes and a portfolio company of Explora Partners, in its add-on acquisition of CivCheck, the first AI plan review platform capable of supporting every check required for building permits and planning approvals
- Represented a private equity-backed cloud-focused consulting and solutions firm that designs, builds and runs cloud infrastructure, data platforms and AI systems in its investment from a private equity firm
- Represented Metrix Engineers, a mechanical engineering firm specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection and building automation system design, in its $30 million sale to Legence Corp. (Nasdaq: LGN), a leading provider of engineering, consulting, installation and maintenance services for mission-critical systems in buildings
- Represented Aero-Plastics Inc., a leader in providing the highest quality products for aerospace, defense and other commercial applications, in its sale to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a leading supplier of hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, o-rings, static seals, gaskets, oil seals and pneumatic seals and a subsidiary of Trelleborg Corp.
- Represented Prime Electric, one of the leading electrical construction contractors on the West Coast and a portfolio company of WestView Capital, in its add-on acquisition of Team Electric, a trusted provider of high-quality electrical services in the Portland/Vancouver area
- Represented a private equity-backed provider of concrete and asphalt repair and maintenance, striping and sports court services in its add‑on acquisition of a North Carolina-based residential and commercial asphalt paving contractor
- Represented a private equity-backed digital technology and customer experience services company in its add-on acquisition of a division of a digital transformation software and services firm
- Represented a holding company in its acquisition of a Washington-based sign company that creates high-quality custom signs
