Overview

Chris Weinmann is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Seattle office. Mr. Weinmann has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and real estate. Mr. Weinmann provides legal advice to clients on a variety of topics, including assisting companies who are interested in acquiring or selling businesses in negotiated transactions of all sizes, on both the buy-side and sell-side. Mr. Weinmann takes a hands-on approach, managing every aspect of each deal.

In addition, Mr. Weinmann has significant experience in advising search funds and independent sponsors on the full cycle of legal issues they face, including fund formation, target identification, structuring, debt and equity financing, acquisitions, business operations and corporate governance, add-ons and divestitures, and exit strategies across a range of industries, including technology, software, services, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, and defense and retail. He serves as outside general counsel to small and large companies, including family-owned businesses, funds, family offices and entrepreneurs, managing all legal matters related to their businesses.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Weinman was an attorney at a Seattle-based law firm.

  • Represented organicgirl LLC, the U.S. market leader in branded organic packaged salads and a portfolio company of Arable Capital Partners, in its acquisition of the Fresh Vegetables Division of Dole plc (NYSE: DOLE), a global leader in fresh produce, for $140 million
  • Represented organicgirl LLC, the U.S. market leader in branded organic packaged salads and a portfolio company of Arable Capital Partners, in its add-on acquisition of Braga Fresh, a vertically integrated grower and processor of both conventional and organic vegetables
  • Represented Fraxion, a provider of cloud-based procurement and spend management software for mid-market organizations, in its majority investment from Main Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing exclusively in Enterprise Software companies
  • Represented Aero-Plastics Inc., a leader in providing the highest quality products for aerospace, defense and other commercial applications, in its sale to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a leading supplier of hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, o-rings, static seals, gaskets, oil seals and pneumatic seals and a subsidiary of Trelleborg Corp
  • Represented a private equity-backed digital technology and customer experience services company in its add-on acquisition of a division of a digital transformation software and services firm
  • Represented a search fund-backed leading provider of Accounts Payable automation solutions for medium and large enterprises in the cloud in its sale to a private equity-backed a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that leverages Artificial Intelligence-based Autonomous Systems to help companies automate Accounts Receivable and Treasury processes
