Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler advises clients on real estate finance matters, with a primary emphasis on low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) transactions that finance the development of affordable housing. He advises his clients on the business and tax credit aspects of these transactions, helping lenders navigate due diligence and other transactional matters. Based in Boston, Jason is a member of Holland & Knight's Tax Credit & Community Development Finance Practice Group.

Jason first worked with the Firm as a summer associate, assisting with due diligence on LIHTC transactions. During law school, he also worked at a small Los Angeles firm on matters involving startup businesses and venture capital transactions, broadening his transactional experience.

Before attending law school, Jason played professional baseball for eight years and pitched in the major leagues for the Minnesota Twins in 2017. He brings a detail-oriented approach and strong transactional foundation to his work representing lender clients in affordable housing tax credit transactions.
