Overview

Alison Inderfurth Wright is a senior public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Public Policy & Regulation Group.

Ms. Wright brings years of experience in federal policymaking and strategic advocacy. She advises clients across a range of sectors, including energy and natural resources, housing and healthcare, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes and advance their policy priorities. Ms. Wright's work includes supporting clients on energy storage and battery manufacturing issues, contributing to meaningful advancements in domestic clean energy and supply chain resilience. She also monitors and analyzes state and federal housing policy developments for clients nationwide, helping them anticipate and mitigate potential risks. In the healthcare space, Ms. Wright advocates on behalf of a coalition of hospitals and other healthcare stakeholders, with a particular focus on critical legislative and regulatory matters.

Ms. Wright helps clients form and/or develop preexisting political action committees (PACs). She uses her political strategy skills to help clients fine-tune their budgets, finding the right exposure opportunities and use for their PAC members. Ms. Wright also advises on PAC solicitation materials, member giving campaigns and branding.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Wright served as deputy chief of staff and director of operations for former U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.). Over the course of her 16 years with the U.S. House of Representatives, she developed strong relationships across congressional offices, House committees, the White House and federal agencies, supporting operational and policy initiatives. In addition to her official duties, she served as PAC finance director for Rep. Perlmutter's reelection campaigns, where she led fundraising strategy and execution to support overall campaign goals.

Ms. Wright's previous experience includes political event coordination and fundraising, further strengthening her ability to build coalitions and drive results in complex policy environments.
