Kitty Xie

Yuhan "Kitty" Xie is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston office. Ms. Xie focuses her practice on corporate, securities, financial services and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

In her general corporate practice, Ms. Xie has assisted buyers and sellers in M&A deals by conducting due diligence and drafting and negotiating various transactional documents. She has also assisted publicly traded clients with equity financing and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.

Ms. Xie has worked on various renewable energy project development projects, including green and blue hydrogen production. She assisted in drafting and negotiating operational and financing agreements, such as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts, master services agreements, and environmental attributes purchase and sales agreements.

In addition, Ms. Xie has financial services experience representing both lenders (such as commercial banks and capital venture groups) and borrowers. She has prepared, advised and negotiated various loan documents and assisted clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare and solar project development.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Xie managed logistics service provider contracts for a Fortune 200 information technology (IT) company. Ms. Xie also worked in various roles in supply chain functions for about 10 years and has extensive experience in procurement and lean improvement.

In addition, Ms. Xie has board governance, finance and budgeting experience by previously serving on the board and as the chair of the finance committee for Etoile Academy Charter School.
