Overview
Andrew Yu is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Los Angeles office and a member of the Corporate, M&A and Securities Section.
Mr. Yu's practice focuses on representing public and private companies and private equity funds in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), take-private transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings and other complex strategic transactions. He provides corporate, governance and strategic advice to clients in all aspects of their transactions and corporate governance maintenance.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Yu was an attorney in the M&A practice of a global law firm in its Los Angeles office.
While in law school, Mr. Yu was a member of the Fordham Law Review.

- Representation of a NASDAQ-listed cloud-based business intelligence platform company in its $400 million sale of substantially all of its assets

- Representation of a private equity firm in numerous matters, including its 1) sale of an aerospace precision systems and space company, 2) investment in a defense engineering company and 3) acquisition of an industrial fabrication company
- Representation of a private equity firm in numerous matters, including its 1) approximately $470 million sale of an industrial air technology and valve manufacturing group to a publicly traded diversified industrial company, and 2) acquisition of a specialty paper and release liners company
