Tax, Financial, and Business Law Ramifications of Shareholder Disputes
Illinois CPA Society - Chicago Metro Chapter
Corporate Partners Michael Zdeb and Thomas Kinasz and Litigation Partners Richard Winter, Jonathan Strouse and Associate Michael Grill spoke at an Illinois CPA Society – Chicago Metro Chapter program titled, "Tax, Financial, and Business Law Ramifications of Shareholder Disputes."
Closely held, non-publicly traded enterprises represent an enormous part of the economy. The equity participants in these enterprises may be shareholders, partners, members or venturers (owners). Competing demands among owners often complicate decisions regarding the use of resources of the business and give rise to the potential for conflict and stalemate. This session addressed the tax, financial and business law ramifications of such shareholder disputes.
