UC Davis Extension Wine Law Conference, Toward a Common Standard: New European Union Label Laws and Geographic Indicators of Origin

Holland & Knight will sponsor this year's UC Davis Extension Wine Law Conference. California Winery Industry Services Partner Michael Newman, chair of the firm's Alcohol Beverage Team, will speak on a panel at the conference.

Panelists will discuss the background and implications of recent changes in European and U.S. wine trade names and appellations. The purpose of the seminar is to engage in a dialogue regarding the historical content, impacts and future opportunities related to wine law denominations and appellations.
