Private Wealth Services Partners Susan Drewke, John Dadakis and Mike Zdeb will speak at the Attorneys for Family-Held Enterprises Annual Conference.

Ms. Drewke will speak on a panel titled "Trustee Duties with Family Business Enterprises." She will discuss the duties of a trustee holding interests in a family business enterprise, as well as the issues that can arise in relation to succession, ongoing management, and the ultimate disposition of the business. Ms. Drewke will also discuss the issues that can arise among trust beneficiaries, and how to avoid or minimize those issues while fulfilling the plan for the ultimate disposition of the business.

Mr. Dadakis and Mr. Zdeb will speak on a panel titled "Duties Among Shareholders/Members in Family-Held Enterprises." The evolution of the recognition of rights and duties among shareholders/members in family-held and closely held ventures has occurred simultaneously with the development of the concept of fair value as the measure of value in court ordered buyouts as the remedies for breaches of those duties. Mr. Dadakis and Mr. Zdeb will discuss how these developments impact decisions regarding distributions, compensation, and participation in governance as well as the involvement of trustees and other parties such as stakeholders and managers.
