Real Estate Partner Curtis Sano will speak at the first ever Real Estate Case Study presentation at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Convention.

The Real Estate Committee is very excited to announce its first ever NAPABA Real Estate Case Study, in conjunction with Holland & Knight, the Asian American Commercial Real Estate Group of D.C., and Monument Realty. The presentation will begin with a discussion at the JW Marriott led by the developer and attorneys for 2055 L Street. You will then travel to the project via the nearby Metro line for a behind-the-scenes tour.  This mixed-use renovation project (which should be close to being complete by the time of the convention) consists of commercial condominiums and a Verizon switching station, which created unique legal challenges and issues.  The building is the headquarters for the National Restaurant Association, and there are a number of interesting restaurants and other retailers in the immediate area.

All attendees will need to purchase their own Metro tickets. Estimated roundtrip cost is $4.00 per person.
