IRS Enforcement of the Employer Mandate under the Affordable Care Act

Partner Nicole Elliott will be a presenter on the Tribal Self Governance Advisory Committee (TSGAC) webinar on healthcare reform for Indian Country.

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employers with 50 or more full-time employees—including tribal governments—are subject to requirements pertaining to the offer of health insurance coverage to these employees and their dependents. Speakers will cover the current state of the ACA's employer mandate and the increased enforcement by the Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies, as well as discuss the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA).
