To Engage or Not to Engage: That Is Still the Question

Partner Aymee Valdivia will be a panelist at the iLaw2019 The ILS Global Forum on International Law conference for the "To Engage or Not to Engage: That Is Still the Question" panel. Under the current Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations and the U.S. pullback from Cuba, the panel will deliberate not only "who can travel to Cuba", but "who should travel to Cuba?"

Ms. Valdivia will be discussing the current U.S. legal restrictions and requirements for travel to Cuba, the constitutional right to travel, and the effectiveness of sanctions as compared to engagement.
