The Rule of Law and COVID-19, and the Case of Hungary

Partner and Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the NYC Bar Association Jonathan Halpern will be moderating a session titled "The Rule of Law and COVID-19, and the Case of Hungary." The program will feature presentations from two scholars on EU law. Professor Joelle Grogan will give a global overview of the relationship between state of emergency and the rule of law within the context of the current pandemic. Professor Petra Bárd will focus on the rule of law in Hungary, and/or in the EU with a lens on Hungary.
