Courageous Conversations about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Strategies to Increase Effectiveness

Diversity Partner Tiffani Lee and LGBT Affinity Group Co-Chair Dianne Phillips will be featured on a West LegalEdcenter webinar discussing courageous conversations in the legal profession. Although these conversations are often challenging, requiring levels of openness, transparency and candor that some may find difficult or uncomfortable, they are essential to increasing awareness of issues with race and racism or other topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion. By having these conversations, participants can gain a better understanding of these issues and so lay the groundwork for solutions. Ms. Lee and Ms. Phillips will discuss the importance of courageous conversations and the obstacles to having them as well as offer strategies to guide conversations and increase their effectiveness.
