Environment Partner Amy Edwards and Attorney Aaron Heishman as well as Land Use Partner Michelle Rosati will present a session titled "Development and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed: Zoning, Permits and Environmental Law Issues," for the D.C. Bar. The class will introduce those who attend to the various environmental laws, regulations and procedures that apply to development in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. It will discuss the environmental issues often raised by development, as well as issues that developers face in this area. The panel will also introduce the relevant laws, regulations and programs, focusing on the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. They also will highlight stormwater control requirements, wetland regulations and forestry law and regulations.
