Lawyer for the Day in Housing Court Training - Benefits and Resources Available to Veterans Facing Eviction

Veterans Group Pro Bono Chair Nicholas Hasenfus will speak at a Boston Bar Association webinar on tools and resources available to veterans facing evictions. Massachusetts' moratorium on evictions ended on Oct. 17, and it is anticipated that there will an increased need for representation for low-income litigants in Housing Court. During this session, participants will learn about resources including state and federal benefits to help forestall evictions, resources to help a veteran family locate new housing and communication strategies with servicemember and veteran clients.
