Enforcing Contracts During A Pandemic: Surveying the Initial Judicial Response to Covid-19 Contract Defenses

Litigation and Dispute Resolution Partner Jessica Early will participate in a Boston Bar Association webinar on the judicial response to pandemic-related contract defenses. Speakers will discuss force majeure clauses and common law defenses that have been used to excuse contractual performance during the pandemic as well as analyze how courts have responded to them. In doing so, they will evaluate the applicability and validity of these defenses.
